According to The Economic Times, Anthropic's revenue jumped 1,100% ahead of its IPO, as its AI spending commitments neared $900 billion. Gizmodo separately reported that Anthropic claims to be near recursive self-improvement.
Goldman Sachs has restricted most staff from using AI tools designed for coding, citing productivity and risk concerns, per Bloomberg. One post says the ban covers bankers and traders and names Claude Code as an example of the tools affected.
Anthropic reported Q3 2026 revenue of $17.0B, up 1,127% from a year ago, and an operating loss of $567M. The company posted a net loss of $23.3B, compared to $12.1B a year ago. Adjusted operating income was $2.5B with a 15% margin.
Anthropic is reportedly targeting a November IPO at a $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion valuation, which could surpass SpaceX's record. An updated IPO prospectus has reportedly been filed to list under $ANT.
Oracle (ORCL) shares fell more than 5% after the company announced plans to raise $20 billion through equity and debt issuances to fund its AI buildout. The stock is now down 54% from this year's high, according to a post by @KobeissiLetter.
